There’s nothing quite as pesky as a face full of pimples. Luckily, over the years, pimple patches have become holy grails for all of those brutal breakouts.
However, it’s important to note that not all pimple patches are made the same. We’ve compiled a list of our top 5 favorite pimple patches that we tested and identified as powerhouses for a variety of skin types.

The Korean Beauty EASYDERM Beauty Quick Calming Care Spot Patches utilize shockingly effective needles that penetrate the skin (similar to a traditional microdart pimple patch) but with a much more powerful attack on those pesky pores (without being painful).
Compared to typical hydocolloids, which draw out toxins and impurities from acne and quicken the healing process, magnesium oxide hydrocolloids take things a step further by doing all of that, plus reducing oil, eliminating bacteria, and soothing irrirated skin.
The centella asiatica, which is actually an herb that’s a member of the parsley family and a staple in K-beauty, is a rockstar ingredient because it strengthens the skin barrier and reduces inflammation, redness and signs of aging.

2. Hero Cosmetics Micropoint Patches
Hero Cosmetics has an assortment of blemish patches, but we think their Mighty Patch Micropoint Microneedle Blemish Patches (about $13 for 8 patches) are game-changers, especially for treating early stage pimples.
They also come in 6-packs and XL sizes.
In 6-8 hours, these beauties pull all of our acne gunk out like magic. We particularly recommend putting them on at night for the best results.
The microneedle has proven time and time again to be much more efficient than basic pimple patches that merely sit on our faces. The key ingredients include, salicylic acid, niacinmide and willow bark.
3. Peach Slices Microdarts
The Peach Slices Deep Blemish Microdarts (about $9 at Peach and Lily for 9 patches) are also some of our favorites for early stage pimples because they’re full of salicylic acid, tea tree oil, niacinimide, cica (Asian anti-inflammatory herb) and hyaluronic acid.
We appreciate that these microdart patches work on all skin types whether someone has dry, normal, oily or combination skin. The vegan and cruelty-free microdarts are pain-free and also found to be most effective to us for overnight use.
4. COSRX Acne Pimple Patches
We can’t get enough of the Korean beauty brand COSRX and its Acne Pimple Patches ( about $6 at COSRX for 24 patches) that work quickly for overnight healing. They are formulated with hydrocolloid, which absorbs the pimple discharge.
One of the biggest perks with these patches is the array of sizes, including 9 large dots, 5 medium dots, and 10 small dots.
5. ZitSticka Killa Acne Patches
If you couldn’t already tell, we love a microdart, and that includes ZitSticka;s KILLa patches (about $14 on Amazon for 4 patches and sometimes on sale) It reaches pimples that are too difficult for other patches to penetrate and treat.
The vegan and cruelty free kit includes 4 microdart KILLA patches and 8 priming swabs to clean the skin before application. As usual, for the best results, we suggest leaving them on overnight.
6. Good Molecules Pimple Patches
The Good Molecules pimple patches (about $8 at Ulta Beauty for 60 patches) are definitely some of our favorites for daytime wear, as they are ultra-thin and blend into the natural texture of our skin.
They work the same way as traditional hydrocolloid patches and are vegan and cruelty-free. We appreciate the affordability of these patches (along with most Good Molecules products).
Plus, they provide way more than the average amount of patches for a much lower price! Compared to the other brands on our list, they’re not as potent, but ideal for smaller blemishes.
