While there are many cute workout wear sets that we see all over the internet, especially on social media, not all of the leggings and sports bras, etc. are made equally.
In fact, in many cases, the fitness attire that seems to somehow fit seamlessly on the model advertising it just isn’t made for women of certain body types and workout needs.
Whether someone has more curves or a more lanky build, there is something for everyone, but the hard part is figuring out where to find your fit. Luckily, we’re sharing our 5 top recommendations that cover a range of body types, styles and workouts that are perfect for all forms of exercise.
Some of these brands are higher end while others are definitely for all the frugal gurlies in the room. After all, fitness wear should be accessible for every body no matter the season.
1. Fabletics
This is one of our frugal finds, as Fabletics has lots of stylish options for much less than other brands. Plus, there’s no sacrificing quality with this functional fitness brand.
The only caveat is that the best deals from Fabletics come from subscribing to the VIP membership. It’s $60 a month, but can canceled anytime (including right after you order your clothes before being charged for the first month).
So, we recommend joining for the sales, buying your adorbs fitness attire, and then canceling the membership right after. You can always reactivate it again for the next sale!
Fabletics also has the “Plus Shop” with workout clothing curated for curvier women.
Some of our favorite fits from them include the Mesh Breathable Medium Impact Sports Bra (Member price around $14) and the matching Stride 9 Motion 365+ High Waisted Shorts (Member price around $13) These are perfect for cardio and mid-intensity workouts that will make you sweat. Plus, they are just adorable for all your gym selfie goals!

2. Alo Yoga
So, as many know, Alo is more of a splurge for the pocket. But, gurl, is the quality great if you know what to buy there.
Luckily, we scoped out a pair of leggings that work great for a variety of body types. We can’t get enough of the High-Waist Airlift Leggings ($128) that are specifically designed to withstand high intensity workouts and come in different lengths depending on your height.
These leggings won’t leave you or your cute belly hanging (unless you want it to). This high compression legging still offers enough give for yoga, pilates and other flexible workouts. 3. Women’s Best
Women’s Best has several collections depending on each person’s gym needs. However, there are also options for those gurlies that do a little bit of everything. We recommend the Power Seamless Collection, especially the Power Seamless Shorts ($40) that are available in an assortment of colors and sizes.
These mid-priced leggings offer sculpting and contouring to the body that compliments the booty while comfortably compressing the tummy. The breathability and security of these leggings are what win them a place in our top 5 list.

4. Aoxjox
We particularly adore the Aoxjox brand, which offers the High Waisted Workout Trinity Yoga Pants that feel like a second skin as they wrap you in soft material that moves with your body. These offer a tighter fit for those that enjoy the security of leggings that don’t slide down or shift during high intensity workouts.
This is one for all the cardio and HIT gurlies that want to move around without fear. However, they may be a bit less flexible for weight lifting gurlies.
The leggings cost around $30 on Amazon or on the brand’s website, placing them on the more affordable side with the most sizing options in our list if you order on Amazon. P.S., the Aoxjox bras are cute too!

5. Gymshark
For many, Gymshark has become a staple in the fitness community. Yet, it’s still hard to figure out what the best options are when navigating its wide range of athletic apparel.
Fortunately, we have some insights into a few standout options that flatter various body types, including the Vital Seamless Collection’s 2.0 Shorts ($40) that slide on like butter with a breathable flexibility that makes them a good fit for a range of workouts and bodies.
When it comes to both cuteness and functionality, we have to also point out the matching Sport Seamless Midi Top ($38) and Sport Seamless Leggings ($50). We personally love them in the vivid Force Blue/Pastel Blue, but they’re also available in a variety of colors to fit each gurly’s unique style.
Additionally, we can’t get over how flattering the Crop Mesh Tank ($44) is! For bustier babes, it may be best to double up with a secure sports bra under it. Either way, it’s going to make the ‘gurls’ look very good.
